The movie "Spider Lilies" celebrated its having broken domestic box office at 12 million yuan. In Hong Kong, it earned 500 million NT dollars on its premiere day. As special thanks to the fans who supported the movie, the director released an edited-out clip from the movie. The clip is of Rainie & Isabella french kissing! About this kiss, the director Zero Chou said, "since this kiss is too sensational, it is not possible to show it in cinemas". Fans in that event were given a CD containing this clip.
