Life goes on for Sichuanese

It has been more than three weeks since the Chinese earthquake. The Chinese government has been doing well with the rescue and relief effort, and the international community (including some of the readers here) have shown their love and support for the victims.

Sharing here a few pictures of the victims catching back to their normal life…

They might have lost their love ones and their homes, but life goes on.

This should be my last post regarding the Sichuan earthquake; hopefully it’s the end for all the miseries and a good beginning for the Chinese to rebuild their future. Best wishes.

Various artists, Promise MV

“Promise” (承诺; Cheng Nuo), the theme song for Artiste 512 Fundraising Campaign to raise funds for the Chinese quake victims…

Promise, performed by mostly mainland China’s artists

The song is adapted from rock band Beyond’s popular song; the new lyrics is written by pop star Andy Lau. The song is meant to show encouragement to the quake victims and to show the artists’ commitment to help them along the way.

Another version featuring mostly Hong Kong artists

The death toll of the earthquake is around 70k, with another 15-20k still missing. The rebuild mission has already begun, and it’s a long journey to go. Stay strong Chinese people, and fighting!
