Even though Jessica Simpson has been having trouble finding love since her split with Nick Lachey, her father, Joe Simpson, has decided to take the challenge. And no, I don’t mean he’s dating Jessica, but according to Us Weekly, he is playing matchmaker. At the recent Rolling Stone magazine party in Las Vegas, a soure said,“Joe was chatting to a handsome guy and told him Jessica was single. He gave the hunk his assistant’s number and said he’d set him up with her.”
One could only imagine how the conversation really went, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it went something like, “Jessica Simpson is a good lay. Trust me. I dream about it every day.” Let’s just say, he may be shooting the arrow, but he probably wishes it were something else.
