Lady Gaga wants a new body

Apparently Lady Gaga is unhappy with herself and wants to get Heidi Montag-levels of plastic surgery. Yeah, that should fix everything. From Showbiz Spy:

According to Britain’s Now magazine, the Bad Romance singer — whose real name is Stefani Germanotta — is feeling so down about herself, she’s planning to go under the knife in a desperate bid to beat her depression.

"She’s desperately unhappy but keeps talking about having thousands of dollars worth of plastic surgery. She really thinks that could fix everything. She’s in a really bad way right now. She puts up such a guard that no one ever really knows what she’s feeling. She thinks she looks too manly and spends hours looking at herself.

"She’s thinking about a whole host of cosmetic procedures, including a nose job, cheek implants, boob job and thigh and bum lift. She’s completely preoccupied with overhauling her looks. Everyone’s worried about her and is begging her to take a break and get some perspective and work on her self-confidence. She could be relaxing, but she won’t slow down."

Lady Gaga (born Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta on March 28, 1986) is an American recording artist. She began performing in the rock music scene of New York City's Lower East Side. She soon signed with Streamline Records, an imprint of Interscope Records, upon its establishment in 2007. During her early time at Interscope, she worked as a songwriter for fellow label artists and captured the attention of Akon, who recognized her vocal abilities, and had her also sign to his own label, Kon Live Distribution.

Her debut album, The Fame, was released on August 19, 2008. In addition to receiving generally positive reviews, it reached number-one in Canada, Austria, Germany, and Ireland and topped the Billboard Top Electronic Albums chart. Its first two singles, "Just Dance" and "Poker Face", co-written and co-produced with RedOne, became international number-one hits, topping the Hot 100 in the United States as well as other countries. The album later earned a total of six Grammy Award nominations and won awards for Best Electronic/Dance Album and Best Dance Recording. In early 2009, after having opened for New Kids on the Block and the Pussycat Dolls, she embarked on her first headlining tour, The Fame Ball Tour. By the fourth quarter of 2009, she released her second studio album The Fame Monster, with the global chart-topping lead single "Bad Romance", as well as having embarked on her second headlining tour of the year, The Monster Ball Tour.

Lady Gaga is inspired by glam rock musicians such as David Bowie and Freddie Mercury, as well as pop music artists such as Madonna and Michael Jackson. She has also stated fashion is a source of inspiration for her songwriting and performances. To date, she has sold over eight million albums and over fifty-five million singles digitally worldwide.

Lady Gaga has been influenced by glam rock musicians such as David Bowie and Freddie Mercury, as well as pop music artists such as Madonna and Michael Jackson. John Dingwall of Daily Record wrote: "[Gaga] says she has been inspired by Madonna and the late Michael Jackson, but her number one inspiration has been Freddie Mercury." The Queen song "Radio Ga Ga" inspired her stage name. She commented: "I adored Freddie Mercury and Queen had a hit called Radio Gaga. That's why I love the name... Freddie was unique - one of the biggest personalities in the whole of pop music." Madonna told Rolling Stone that she sees "[her]self in Lady Gaga." In response to the comparisons between herself and Madonna, Lady Gaga stated: "I don't want to sound presumptuous, but I've made it my goal to revolutionise pop music. The last revolution was launched by Madonna 25 years ago." Fashion icon/actress/singer Grace Jones has also been cited as an inspiration. She has often been likened to Blondie singer Debbie Harry. Alice Cooper called her style "vaudevillian".

Lady Gaga's vocals have drawn frequent comparison to Madonna and Gwen Stefani, while the structure of her music is said to be reminiscent of classic 1980s pop and 1990s Europop. In reviewing her debut album The Fame, The Sunday Times asserted "in combining music, fashion, art and technology, Lady GaGa evokes Madonna, Gwen Stefani circa Hollaback Girl, Kylie Minogue 2001 or Grace Jones right now." Similarly, The Boston Globe critic Sarah Rodman commented that she draws "obvious inspirations from Madonna to Gwen Stefani... in [her] girlish but sturdy pipes and bubbly beats." Baby A. Gil of The Philippine Star asserted that her voice is "just right for the mix of dance and rock that she does." Alexis Petridis of The Guardian commented that although, as an artist, she lacks originality, "pop music doesn't have to be blindingly original or clever to work: it needs tunes, and Lady GaGa is fantastically good at tunes." Though her lyrics are said to lack intellectual stimulation, "[she] does manage to get you moving and grooving at an almost effortless pace." Simon Reynolds has written that "Everything about Gaga came from electroclash, except the music, which wasn't particularly 1980s, just ruthlessly catchy noughties pop glazed with Auto-Tune and undergirded with R&B-ish beats.

Britney Spears’ father has banned his daughter from going out without a bra

The ‘3′ singer – who is still under the conservatorship of her father Jamie Spears following her widely-publicised breakdown in 2007 – has been warned she needs to improve her public image which is why he has imposed the bra rule and threatened to sack any member of her security who lets her slip out without underwear on.

A friend said: “Jamie’s control over Britney’s life is incredible. He hates the pictures of her with her nipples all over the place so he has banned her from leaving the house without a bra. He wants her to put across the right impression. One security guard is told he is close to getting fired because he lets her go out without her bra.”

The 57-year-old patriarch – who has control of the singer’s finances – has also been deemed responsible for the end of the pop star’s relationship with 38-year-old talent agent Jason Trawick, who she split with at the end of February.

The friend added to The Sun newspaper: “It was also Jamie who made her split with Jason. He likes Jason but their relationship was too intense and volatile. He feared it was sending her back to her old ways. He warned her, ‘It’s Jason or your children.’ ” Britney, 28, has two sons, Sean Preston, four, and three-year-old Jayden James, with ex-husband Kevin Federline.

Lindsay's stealing again

Lindsay Lohan at Switch boutique in Beverly Hills (4/14)

Back in 2008, Lindsay Lohan stole an $11,000 fur coat from a private party at New York's 1Oak restaurant. Well as you know, nothing goes better with a stolen fur coat than a nice stolen watch. I just can't believe it took her this long to get one. From TMZ:

Lindsay Lohan has been named a suspect in the theft of a $35,000 Rolex watch, law enforcement sources tell TMZ. We're told the watch belongs to one of Lindsay's "friends," who accidentally left it at Lindsay's house earlier this year -- and never got it back.

But sources tell us that cops have photographic evidence which could prove Lindsay knows exactly where the Rolex went. We're told cops rolled over to Lohan's pad Wednesday to question the actress about the Rolex -- but Lindsay denied any involvement in the theft.

Radar claims that Doug Reinhardt spent $2 million on that bow-legged freak Paris Hilton during their 18-month relationship. As in dollars. 2 million dollars. What an idiot.

“Doug never used Paris. He spent 2 million dollars on her over the course of a year and a half,” a source revealed to RadarOnline.com. “She never once paid for a single thing.”

During the course of their relationship they had been to Fiji, Hawaii, Aspen and Anguilla among other places.

“Between flying private, private islands, etc... in reality he paid for everything!”

Doug was also known to lavish her with gifts including a baby teacup Pomeranian, Chanel watch, and custom-made diamond jewelry.
